My mission
My mission is to make women learn from very young age that their values are not determined by their physical appearance or by the opinion of others. As a body positive advocate, I want to help women regardless of their age, country of origin or body shape but to rediscover their values, to learn how to acknowledge, to appreciate and respect all those miracles they carry within. I encourage women to be proud of that certain plus which make them unique and irreplaceable and once learned how to celebrate their distinctive values, those will contribute to their personal and professional success.
My quest is to redefine beauty standards, encourage women to be more acceptable of themselves and others and to create a love relationship with their bodies. Being a teacher the younger generation has a special place in my heart and my goal is to implement an educational program for the youth how they can develop a healthy body image from the very early age. Educating about diversity is crucial and my body positive mission is inclusive of every body shape while uplifting and cherishing our differences. My mission covers not only diverse body shapes but topics as growing older, changing bodies and being healthy at every age. I detest every form of bullying (offline or online).
My goal is to nurture role models of every age to spread self-respect, self-care and self-love on to fellow women (and men). Becoming a role model requires consciousness when it comes to positive self-talk and also being aware of the altered images from the media.
I continue to build a body positive community (within BeautyWithPlus and BoPoTribe, the body positive tribe) where each individual is acknowledged, appreciated and celebrated for their unique and irreplaceable beauty coming from within. Beside public speaking, TV and other media appearances I create various body positive campaigns and movements to raise awareness for the importance of a healthy body image.
