My latest #livePLUS Facebook broadcast was a list of advice, kind reminders which we tend to forget about things we truly deserve. Not as a reward because these things do not depend on the way you look or on the things you achieved. Here is a short list:
- You deserve to be loved!
Without any conditions or even without giving your all or showing your all. You deserve unconditional love just as anyone else and you need to start giving it your own self, just as you give to others. Just as mothers love their children, you don’t have to be perfect in order to be loved, actually, on the contrary. Just be human, be yourself!
- You deserve self-care!
Have some me-time when you only do whatever feels right, uplifting and makes you happy. Make it 15 mins or a whole day, just enjoy! Embracing your creativity will further help you in your journey to know yourself, too.
- You deserve respect!
You do not need to achieve anything in order to be respected. I firmly believe that every living being deserves respect, a clean and fresh start as respect doesn’t depend on your rank, position or age.
- You deserve the best!
How many times people told me I set the bar too high but why should I feel bad for having standards of what I prefer? Don’t settle just because something is available! Wait for your best what you are looking for!
- You deserve that things get better!
We sometimes stuck in the bad and eventually we believe that we don’t deserve better, this is what it is. But why would you give up when your heart is still beating? You deserve that your things get better but of course do everything you can for that!
Finally here are 2 bonus thoughts of what you DO NOT deserve.
- You don’t deserve to be treated as you don’t matter.
You do matter! Even if you think that your importance is less than a tiny sand piece, believe me that your thoughts, your feelings, your actions and your whole existence does matter. Don’t let anyone tell you the opposite!
- You don’t deserve to be hurt, not even my yourself!
Don’t punish yourself for your mistakes or for the irrealistic expecations that fail. You hurt that body that carries heavy grocery bags, the stomach that kept your baby alive and provided for them and you hurt that hand which was holding on to your mom’s hand. Don’t just look at yourself but see how much you are capable of!
And next week we continue with another exciting topic, stay tuned!
