Due to my busy schedule working on my first book, outfit posts became a rare phenomenon around here. So you guessed it well, I was excited to get into shooting again once I came back to Milan after my book tour in Hungary and the first post revolves around a must-have piece which I’ve neglected till now: the pencil skirt.
This straight cut, narrow skirt ends usually around the knee or just a little bit beneath it. It is a true Jolly Joker, suits all type of curvy girls. Yet I never wore any and the reason? I prefer either mini or maxi skirt, not anything inbetween. Also, pencil skirts are said to be best worn with high heels which I rarely wear so there you go, no pencil skirt for me. Until now when I stepped out of my comfort zone and got this floral one from Yours Clothing which I paired with flas shoes, really comfy ones from Marina Rinaldi.
It was truly liberating to let go of the thought existing only in my head and instead of dressing as others would expect me to, I dared to be myself. This is what self-confidence is about!
