Time is flying so fast and the release date of my very first book quickly approaching. It is still hard to believe that soon I will find my name written on a book, in a bookstore on a shelf but I am trying to soak all these in. I have always focused on my mission which is to reach as many women as possible and help them in building their self-confidence and in creating a healthy body imagel. The enemy is invisible and lives within but thankfully there is a silver light at the end of this tunnel. I wrote my book to provide a helping tool and we recently have shot a video with my publishing house, too.
I asked my Hungarian Beauties on my Facebook page in a very mysterious post to join me in a special project and though I could not reveal many details, I received quite a few messages and some of them came on that sunny afternoon to a busy area of Budapest.
I decided to test the average Hungarian women and stop them in a busy part of the capital to see if they are ready to face their measurements, if they are afraid of numbers or not. There was a twist though as my measuring tape did not have numbers but words such as „Just right!” or „Mermaid”. How much cooler is it, right?
However when I asked these women if I could measure them, many of them refused and some even ran away from me. Thanfully I found a bunch of women, various ages and shapes who let me measure them. We had a few lovely conversations as I asked a few questions about their self-image and self-confidence. There were moments when the whole crew, including myself had tears in our eyes, hearing some saddening stories. Hopefully I can subtitle the video and share the English version with you, too!
My main lesson I learnt that afternoon was this: every woman needs some encouragement from time to time. We all have bad moments, bad days when the mirror is the enemy and all of the women I interviewed agreed in one thing: self-confidence is as crucial as air itself. Without self-confidence your life won’t work properly. I hope I can help thousands of women with my book to step on the path of self-love.
