#dailyPLUS: You look wonderful!
Not your hair, not your makeup or your shoes but you as a whole. You look wonderful! We tend to tear ourselves and others apart to little pieces when it comes to compliments. Why would you downgrade a compliment and say it is only because of that new dress that your friend looks great? Tell her that she rocks, as she is, fully and completely with every inch and detail. And when you get a compliment, don’t react with saying how old that dress is or how you haven’t washed your hair for a week. Learn to receive and enjoy those nice words! Tearing ourselves to tiny pieces is the biggest threat to our self-confidence as we start to see nothing else in the mirror but a problematic belly, a stretchmark on the thigh and so on. Try to see yourself (and others) as a whole. Today I ask you to say a compliment to someone. Not about their dress but about them as whole beings. Tell them they look wonderful today, don’t give explanation why and don’t compliment one specific detail, but as a whole wonderful being!
