#dailyPLUS: You can’t control the filters others choose when they look at you.
Imagine it like a filter you have in your picture editing apps. Some of them make your photo look darker while others lighten up the colours of it. Therefore one picture may have thousands of different looks, depending on your personal taste. This is exactly what happens in real life when your friends or strangers look at you. Many filters exist in their heads: some people have prejudice while others have openness as a filter when seeing you. This is how you appear different in every person’s eyes. Your mom sees the forever child when looking at you while your partner sees you as a sensual goddess and yet it is the same person, you. This is what I refer to when I advise you to deal with negative comments in the most appropriate way: the comments belong to those who make them, not to you. It is their filter and not your reality.
