#dailyPLUS: Love yourself for who you are instead of hating yourself for who you are not!
If I asked you to write a list of things you love & hate about yourself, I am pretty sure both lists would be quite many things on them. The question is not which list is longer but which you decide to focus on. Which list you re-live every minute of your day when you look into the mirror or when you talk about/to yourself. Obviously the size of your butt won’t shrink just because you focus on your sense of humour but that is not the point either. The reason why your focus matters as it determines your mood and your feeling of self-worth. While you bash yourself not to be like this and that, you ignore the fact that you are already something which you forget to appreciate. Even without asking I know which of these puts a smile on your face: Your eyes are so beautiful! You have such a huge double chin! It is that simple, see? And what you focus on and why you love yourself is a decision made by you, not by the magazines, the TV ads or the catwalk models. It is exclusively your decision!
