#dailyPLUS : My age is just a number, it doesn’t define who I am.
Discrimination of age is quite common, especially against women since a fifty-something man would be played by the charm king George Clooney while a woman of the same age would be portrayed as a desperate, plastic surgery addict, like that one played by Goldie Hawn in First Wives Club. In our twenties we have to face the usual interview question when we plan to have babies and by the time we reach 30, we become the main target group for anti ageing products. However wrinkles are memory lanes, at least this is how I refer to them, reminding me of good memories and big lessons from my past. A number is just a statistical data, nothing more or less. It tells nothing about you so why would you deny your age when asked? 29 or 42 tell just as much about you as those daily horoscope written for millions of women. Don’t be afraid of numbers because you are so much more than them!
