The one and only curvy presentation during the Milan Fashion Week was the Italian luxury brand, Marina Rinaldi’s capsule collection launch event on the 25th floor of the Diamond Tower. The evening sun set a beautiful light coming through the huge windows and every square meter of the venue was filled with the Italian-Japenese fusion. Marina Rinaldi took the Italian tradition of fashion and added a touch of Japanese art and class by collaborating with two artists: Tsumori Chisato designer and the manga artist, Britney Hamada. The Fun Japan Collection combines the stylish creativity of Tsumori Chisato and Britney Hamada’s vivid manga illustrations were present not only next to the large eyed mannequins but throughout a special cartoon booklet, published exclusively for the occasion. The manga artist was present as well at the event.
Beside the SS16 Marina Rinaldi capsule collection the event showcased some pieces from Persona by Marina Rinaldi collection and I already laid eyes on a coat combining geometric forms and floral patterns.
Thank you so much for the invitation, it was definitely an evening to remember in a breathtaking environment filled with pulsing creativity and Italian style.
